LaunchUX Case Study: PGC Counseling
Company Objective
The pandemic forced PGC Counseling to go 100% remote, which was a difficult change for a business that relies on face-to-face interactions. LaunchUX created several interactive online worksheets and form so clients could register, submit insurance information, sign permission/release forms, and pay their bills.
Additionally, PGC Counseling added a weekly self-inventory for their clients to submit before each counseling session to give their counselor an idea of their well-being before each session. Their office has now gone entirely remote with telemedicine and their HIPAA compliant website and forms.
How We Approached It
With the rapid onset of the pandemic, PGC needed to go remote on March 16th, 2020. LaunchUX was able to update their website and create the HIPAA compliant forms within a week. We did this by digitizing their existing forms for online use so the office staff felt familiar with the forms.
What’s more, we spent considerable time ensuring the information was secure and HIPPA compliant and added secure web hosting to their website. Secure hosting is critical for all businesses (medical in particular) because of the rise of healthcare industry hacking.
